Meet the Physician

Dr. Suresh Chand is an Interventional Pain Specialist, dual Board Certified in Pain Medicine and Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

He completed his Pain fellowship in Anesthesia and Critical Care department at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, a Tufts University affiliated teaching hospital in Boston. Prior to his training in Pain Management, Dr. Chand completed a residency in Psychiatry at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. He completed his preliminary medical training in India at the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences and the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

Dr. Suresh Chand, M.D. is Dual Board certified in Pain Medicine and Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology , Inc.

We are glad to provide traditional Anesthesia based Chronic Pain Management services. In addition we are proud to deliver cutting edge Regenerative therapies( Platelet rich Plasma and Mesenchymal Stem cell therapy) and Ketamine Infusion therapy for treatment resistant Mood disorder and Chronic pain.

In addition to serving the Greater- Portland community, Dr. Chand is also serving as a physician in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps.

His training and background in psychiatry in addition to Interventional Pain Management places him in a unique position to understand his patients better and apply a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment of chronic pain.

​He is a member of the Spine Intervention Society, the North American Neuromodulation Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the American Society of Ketamine Physicians.
